Free For All Tuesday No. 239

  1. My experiment to use a week on four pages format that I drew was very short lived. I disliked the significant increase in pages and the unwanted weight in my binder. I should not have designed the layout for three months because I already decided that I will not use it. I still forged ahead in seeking more daily space than a Wo2P and fewer pages than a Wo4P.

The answer was obvious but unorthodox and uncommon. I designed a week on three pages and I created a new layout on my month page. In this way my month format is on the right page. Then I turn the month page and Monday and Tuesday are on the left page. Wednesday through Friday are on the next right page. Then I turn the page and Sat. and Sunday on the left page. On the next week Mon. and Tues. are on the right page. Then Wed. and Thurs. are on the left page and Friday through Sunday are on the right page to complete the second week. I decided that the three days on one page would appear on only the right page. I thought of a Wo3P before but I hesitated because it was unusual. I also reused some of the paper from my Wo4P because I drew the lines in pencil and erased them. For the rest of the year I am using my new month layout and a Wo3P.

    1. That really is the best way of trying out ideas before you commit your self to a full years worth of inserts and the expense that that would involve.

    2. Hi Steve. Thank you for your comment. It was definitely better to draw the format in pencil and reuse the pages in the process.

  2. Last week some mentionend the travel journal pack, and Steve, you said there was someone selling it on ebay. Would you share the link? I couldn't find it and I really would like to have a look at it.
Laurie did a review which was great btw. but since I think of either buying the package or setting up one on my own I'd like a better look at it.....
    especially the kit pages......
