  1. Are RSS feeds going out of fashion? If so what's the next best thing to keep up with your favourite planner blogs?

    1. I've used Newsify app very successfully for a long time. It has never let me down!

    2. I have used Feedly since the death of Google Reader. I like it very much. I also use it in conjunction with Pocket, which allows me to read articles offline.

    3. The apps we use to read RSS feeds have changed over the years, but the basic RSS feed is still available on all blogs, You Tube channels and web sites in general. I tend to not read RSS feeds on my mobile devices. On my Mac I use Protopage to keep me up to date on news and other topics.
RSS feeds is what Web Finds generated from as well.

  2. Does anyone have any advice about cleaning the interior of a Deco? Will the usual suede cleaning techniques work?

  3. Looking for some guidance from the Filofax users in a business setting. I work in an office environment. I attend a few meetings each week. I currently practice bullet journaling to tackle my todos. I have a Personal Malden in Ochre that I just don't use. I love everything about the planner but I don't think it works well taking notes in meetings. How do others deal with this issue? I have a Finchley A5 that just seems too big to be easily mobile.

    1. In my experience personal size Filofax binders are not the best for taking notes at work because the page size is small and the binder gets filled with notes pages very quickly. I use a separate (bound) notebook for work notes.

    2. Yes, I use an A4 spiral bound pad for work notes. For long term reference notes, I'm still trialing the unusual, Japanese HBxWA5 format. I find to do lists are good in personal size, but not actual notes.

    3. Agree that personal size pages are tough to use for meeting notes due to narrow page width....better for lists as mentioned...

Last year I got a wonderful Design-Y journal from Japan that I use for meeting notes....I bought the 'EP Record' model and it's wonderful, even with fountain pens which I use...not the cheapest solution though, but incredibly well made.

Occasionally use a Rhodia Webnotebook, A5 size paper but since spiral bound it is very slim and trim.

    4. I use an A5 bound notebook for notes and projects. Rings slow me down, also I need loads of space to map things out.

    5. ... and if you're left-handed, don't even think of trying to use Personal for rapid note-taking, unless you've got quadrille paper and turn your organiser 90 degrees so that the rings are at the top of the page.

  4. When I use an A5 filofax for work i always carry an a5 oxford notebook with my for note taking as the pages are perforated and fit perfectly into an a5 afterwards
